Uchu Senkan Yamato 2199: Hoshi-Meguru Hakobune

In the year 2199 AD, the Yamato attempts to depart from the Large Magellanic Cloud galaxy after acquiring a “Cosmo Reverse System” from its destination, Iscandar. Unexpectedly, it encounters a mysterious faction at the galaxy’s edge. The crew learns that this group is known as the “Gatlantis,” led by the Gutaba expeditionary force commander, who identifies himself as “Goran Dagaamu of Thunder.” The commander demands the surrender of the Yamato. Eager to return to Earth, the Yamato evades the confrontation. However, it is soon targeted by a formidable beam weapon known as the “Flame Direct Attack Cannon,” capable of transcending space.
