“To Dust” follows Shmuel, a Hasidic cantor in upstate New York, who is struggling to find solace after the untimely death of his wife. In his quest for understanding, he forms an unlikely partnership with Albert, a community college biology professor, as they embark on a darkly comedic journey to explore the mysteries of life, death, and decomposition.
