The Theatre Bizarre
In a rundown part of her city, young Enola Penny becomes captivated by an apparently deserted theater. One evening, she notices the door is slightly open and decides to venture inside. Within the shadowy, dilapidated auditorium, she witnesses a performance like no other. The show is hosted by a creepy human puppet named Peg Poett, who introduces Penny to six strange stories: A couple in the remote French Pyrenees encounters a seductive witch; A suspicious lover faces the fury of a partner pushed to the brink; An unfaithful husband’s Freudian dreams blur the boundary between fantasy and reality; The real world’s horrors are seen through a child’s perspective; A woman addicted to others’ memories satisfies her craving through the vitreous fluid of her victims’ eyes; And a couple’s twisted obsession with sweets takes a dark turn.
