The Proposal
In “The Proposal,” a high-powered book editor named Margaret Tate faces deportation to Canada and impulsively convinces her long-suffering assistant, Andrew Paxton, to marry her in order to stay in the United States. As they travel to Andrew’s hometown in Alaska to meet his family, unexpected challenges and comedic situations arise, leading them to question their initial motives and feelings.
