The Circuit

Newcomers to the area, Nat and Gabe, find themselves at a dinner hosted by the fiery Hungarian Helene and her uncouth husband, Sasha. Among the other attendees are Marty, a former member of Bananarama, Angie, who claims to ‘make bullets,’ and Danny, who is rumored to be suicidal. While the guests are generally pleasant, Nat and Gabe are taken aback by the hosts’ loud and public arguments. Gabe’s clumsy attempt to mediate only adds to the tension. Nat is surprised when Helene, whom she barely knows, confides in her about her suspicions of Sasha’s unfaithfulness. Meanwhile, Gabe’s effort to have a sincere conversation with Sasha is met with hostility. The situation escalates when Helene physically assaults Sasha, prompting Nat and Gabe to want to leave immediately. However, when Danny reveals a shocking secret, Gabe finds himself conflicted between doing the right thing and taking the easy way out.
