Spartacus

Spartacus, a defiant Thracian who has lived his entire life in bondage, is purchased by Batiatus, a trainer of gladiators. After enduring weeks of rigorous training to become a fighter for the arena, Spartacus revolts against his captors and spearheads an uprising among the other slaves. As they journey from one town to another, their group grows larger with the addition of more escaped slaves. Guided by Spartacus, they head towards southern Italy, aiming to cross the sea and return to their homelands.
