Struggling to cope with the loss of her cherished father and a tough breakup, Monica is eager to start anew by pursuing a hosting position on an afternoon talk show. She brings on a new assistant, Simone, and the two swiftly form a close friendship as Simone moves in next door and becomes deeply involved in Monica’s life. However, beneath Simone’s charming demeanor lies a sinister secret, and over time, her true nature starts to surface. Monica ultimately chooses to cut ties with Simone, but Simone has her own agenda and is resolute in her quest to completely take over Monica’s life.
