Whose Line Is It Anyway?

“Whose Line Is It Anyway?” (1998-2007, 2013-) is the American adaptation of the British series bearing the same title, featuring many of the same talented performers. The show showcases some of the world’s top improvisational comedians, such as Wayne Brady, Colin Mochrie, Ryan Stiles, and Drew Carey, with Drew Carey hosting the majority of the episodes and Aisha Tyler taking over in the 2013 season. Each episode sees the core group of four improv comedians, along with a guest performer, engaging in spontaneous “theatre sports,” which include creating hilarious scenes, adopting bizarre quirks, and performing improvised songs.
