The Purge

In “The Purge,” directed by James DeMonaco, society is transformed by an annual event where all crime, including murder, is legal for 12 hours, allowing citizens to release their pent-up aggression. The film follows a family as they struggle to survive the night when their home is invaded, testing their morals and will to protect each other.
