The Legend of ShenLi

In a world where the ancient deities have perished, only one remains—Xingzhi, the last god. Known as the God of Action, he has dwelled alone in the heavens for millennia, devoid of emotion and desire. During a legendary clash between immortals and demons, Xingzhi single-handedly altered the course of the conflict, leading to the downfall of Du Men, after which he vanished without a trace.

Centuries pass in the blink of an eye. Shen Li, a queen born with a rare gift in the demon realm, leads a life of brilliance and splendor. However, as she approaches her thousandth birthday, the threat of a political marriage looms over her. Fleeing from this unwanted union, Shen Li is forced back into her original form as a phoenix and crashes to Earth, gravely injured. Mistaken for a plump chicken by a mortal vendor, she is stripped of her feathers and caged for sale while unconscious.

Their destinies become intertwined through what seems like a random transaction.
