The Good Guys

In the 1970s, Dan Stark and Frank Savage were celebrated detectives in Dallas, gaining national fame as American heroes after rescuing the Governor’s son. Fast forward thirty years, and Dan Stark is now a washed-up detective, often found either intoxicated or reminiscing about his past triumphs. His current partner, Jack Bailey, is a diligent and rule-abiding detective with a sharp wit that sometimes works against him. This tendency has landed him in a stagnant role within the department, where he’s relegated to handling minor theft cases that no one else wants. To make matters worse, he’s been saddled with the unenviable job of supervising Dan, the inebriated outcast who struggles to maintain partnerships.
