The City and the City

When the corpse of an international student is found on the streets of the rundown city of Besźel, it seems like just another routine case for Inspector Tyador Borlú of the Extreme Crime Squad. However, he soon finds clues indicating that the victim was from Ul Qoma, a city that has a tense and precarious connection with Besźel. This investigation will test all of Borlú’s beliefs and values.
