Set in the Tierra Chula Resident Hotel, “Tarantula” revolves around Echo Johnson, a well-regarded yet unlicensed tattoo artist. Through Echo’s lyrical musings, we are introduced to the escapades of the hotel’s inhabitants, who engage in activities like gate-crashing parties, scavenging through dumpsters, and other socially questionable antics.
