One Big Happy

Childhood friends Lizzy, who is gay and somewhat meticulous, and Luke, who is straight and more relaxed, have always been like family to each other. During their youth, as both sets of parents went through divorces, they formed a strong bond that has lasted into adulthood. Now, both single and grown, they’ve decided to create a family together—not in a romantic sense, but through a clinical approach to conception.

After another unsuccessful attempt to conceive, they decide to unwind at a bar. There, Luke encounters Prudence, a carefree British woman who is soon returning to England. Lizzy isn’t particularly fond of Prudence, possibly due to her habit of walking around their apartment unclothed, but Luke quickly forms a connection with her. As they spend every available moment together before her departure, Lizzy finds out she is pregnant. Meanwhile, Luke surprises everyone by revealing that he and Prudence have gotten married, resulting in the formation of an unconventional family.
