This comedy revolves around a large, joyful family navigating their sometimes awkward, often amusing, and ultimately heartwarming milestone moments, as recounted by its various members. Among the three siblings, the middle child, Matt, might have discovered his true love in his colleague, Colleen. Meanwhile, the youngest and most pampered brother, Greg, along with his wife, Jen, are feeling overwhelmed by the arrival of their first child. The eldest sibling, Heather, and her husband, Tim, are so apprehensive about their soon-to-be empty nest that they’re contemplating having another baby. The parents, Joan, the devoted matriarch who would do anything for her children as long as she agrees with it, and John, the sociable patriarch, are trying to ease the transition of John turning 70. As the family’s stories unfold in four short segments each week, they strive to cherish these fleeting yet unforgettable moments, as they collectively form the essence of life.
