Dance Academy

At Sydney’s prestigious National Dance Academy, a select group of gifted young dancers is chosen for an incredibly demanding program. The story centers on Tara Webster, a girl from a sheep farm with dreams of becoming a top ballerina. Among the newcomers are Samuel ‘Sammy,’ the heir to a long line of Jewish doctors, and Christian, a minor juvenile delinquent, who both start as outsiders but gradually find their place and form new friendships. Kat, the daughter of a star ballerina, introduces them to her older brother Ethan, who is already pursuing a career as a choreographer. Meanwhile, Abigail, an ambitious and cunning girl, is willing to do whatever it takes, even sabotage, to achieve her dreams.
