Asta and Yuno, who were left at the same church as infants, have been inseparable ever since. As kids, they vowed to compete against each other to become the next Emperor Magus. However, as they matured, their differences became evident. Yuno turned out to be a magical prodigy with exceptional power and control, whereas Asta, unable to use magic, compensated by focusing on physical training. At the age of 15, when they received their Grimoires, Yuno was bestowed with an extraordinary book featuring a four-leaf clover (most people get a three-leaf clover), while Asta received nothing. But when Yuno’s life was in danger, Asta’s true power emerged, and he obtained a five-leaf clover Grimoire, known as the “black clover.” Now, the two friends embark on their journey, both aiming for the same ultimate goal!
