Aiming for a weekend escape filled with drinks, weed, and camaraderie by the coast, a group of seven friends finds their journey to South Padre Island disrupted by a severe storm. They end up in the welcoming town of Middle Spring, nestled in the heart of the Bible Belt. The town is in the midst of a grand barbecue and tent revival, and they eagerly invite the newcomers to join in. However, the residents of Middle Spring aren’t quite what they appear to be. The town takes the Bible’s teachings very seriously, and as the clock ticks, the friends must stay united when they discover that the true nature of the feast might hit closer to home than they ever imagined.
