Everyone is familiar with the idea that storks deliver babies, but where do these storks actually get the babies? The secret is found high above in the stratosphere, where cloud beings shape infants from clouds and breathe life into them. Gus, a solitary and self-doubting grey cloud, excels at crafting “challenging” babies. From crocodiles to porcupines and rams, Gus’s cherished creations are masterpieces, yet they prove to be quite a challenge for his faithful delivery stork companion, Peck. As Gus’s creations grow increasingly unruly, Peck’s task becomes ever more difficult. How will Peck cope with both his perilous deliveries and his friend’s volatile nature?
