In a tranquil area of Seoul, Jung-won operates a modest photo studio, a legacy from his widowed father. This unassuming establishment is where Jung-won spends his days managing demanding clients, enlarging photos of local heartthrobs for neighborhood children, and taking pictures for funeral altars. Although his life appears to be a series of serene moments, Jung-won is acutely aware that his time is limited. In his mid-30s, he has a profound understanding of mortality and accepts his destiny, despite the quiet concerns expressed by his elderly father and younger sister. His routine continues unchanged until he encounters Darim, who works at the Traffic Control Division of the local district office. She frequents the studio daily to develop photos of parking violations.
