Mommy

In the film “Mommy,” Patty McCormack portrays a mother who is dangerously fixated on her 12-year-old daughter, Jessica Ann. Her obsession reaches a deadly peak when she learns that Jessica has once again missed out on the “Student of the Year” award. To rectify this, she resorts to killing the teacher responsible for not recommending her daughter. She trivializes the murder, calling it “a minor accident.” However, the detective investigating the case quickly becomes suspicious of her, and an insurance investigator, who also harbors doubts, attempts to befriend Jessica Ann to uncover the truth.
