
Love & Savagery
In 1969, a geologist from Newfoundland, Canada, stirs up controversy in a quaint Irish village by falling for a local woman who is committed to becoming a nun. “Love and Savagery” explores themes of passion, destiny, and their repercussions. The story follows Canadian geologist and poet Michael McCarthy (played by Allan Hawco) as he visits Ballyvaughan, Ireland, to study the geological marvel known as the “Burren.” There, he encounters Cathleen (portrayed by Sarah Greene), a captivating woman who wins his affection. However, due to her early life decision, she is unable to reciprocate his feelings.
