Lemonade

Mara, a 30-year-old single mother from Romania, is employed in the United States on a temporary visa as a caregiver. She weds Daniel, an American, and with the subsequent arrival of her son Dragos, her life appears to be perfectly aligned. However, when the green card application process takes an unforeseen turn, Mara encounters power abuses at every turn. This situation compels her to confront a troubling question about her own limits: to what extent would she go to achieve her desires?
