Killing for the Prosecution

Young prosecutor Keiichiro Okino, portrayed by Kazunari Ninomiya, joins the Tokyo Public Prosecutors Office’s division that handles violent crimes. He is excited to collaborate with his idol, Takeshi Mogami, played by Takuya Kimura. The plot thickens when an elderly moneylender is murdered, and Shigeo Matsukura emerges as a suspect due to his financial dealings with the victim. Previously, Matsukura had been a witness in a case involving the murder of a female middle school student. Takeshi Mogami, deeply empathetic to the enduring sorrow of the girl’s family, is determined to establish Matsukura’s culpability.
