Kaveh and Raul, once collaborators on low-budget films, have had a severe falling out. Kaveh, dealing with a breakup, spends his time in a haze at home, while Raul pursues studies at Columbia University. However, when their movie “Islama-rama 2” gets a nod from a film festival, they are reluctantly drawn back together to present their screenplay to the enigmatic producer, Yukio Tai (played by James Hong). Throughout this journey, they must navigate through a host of challenges, including intimidating bodyguards, ruthless peers, incompetent agents, romantic complications, demanding actors, and the complexities of their strained friendship.
