Don’t Answer the Phone!

Kirk Smith, a troubled photographer and Vietnam War veteran, wreaks havoc in Los Angeles by strangling young women dressed in lingerie in their homes. He taunts Lindsay Gale, a psychologist, by calling into her radio show to discuss his sexual issues and misogynistic tendencies. Meanwhile, Lt. McCable, a local police detective, struggles to keep up with the deranged killer as he attempts to apprehend him.
