Wong Kam-Kwei, a once-powerful gang leader now managing bathhouses and karaoke venues, finds himself enamored with Mei, who owns a modest eatery. As he starts supporting her business, he discovers that Mei is romantically involved with Leung, a trusted member of his gang and someone Kam-Kwei considers a brother. When a competing gang, aiming to take over his turf, murders Leung, Kam-Kwei is left with no choice but to safeguard Mei and seek vengeance for Leung’s death.
