“Cremaster 1,” directed by Matthew Barney, is an avant-garde film that explores themes of creation and transformation through a series of surreal and visually striking tableaux. Set primarily on the blue Astroturf of a football field and inside a Goodyear blimp, the film features choreographed sequences that blur the lines between art, performance, and narrative.
