Change of Heart

Diane McCarthy, portrayed by Leah Pipes, works as a producer for a travel-focused reality TV show run by her conceited former boyfriend. On her way to a new assignment, Diane veers off the road and becomes stranded as a storm looms. She spots the Forest Cove bed and breakfast nearby, where the owner, Helen (played by Lindsay Wagner), offers her a free room until her car is fixed. Grateful for the refuge, Diane accepts and meets Helen’s attractive son, Andy (Rick Malambri). Captivated by the inn’s allure, Diane decides to feature Forest Cove in the upcoming episode instead. Helen is thrilled, hoping the exposure will boost business, but Andy, who plans to sell the struggling inn, opposes the idea. Despite his resistance, Diane and Andy grow closer while working on the show. The situation becomes more complicated when Jared, Diane’s ex and the show’s host, arrives and disrupts their plans.
