In the year 2046, much of daily life takes place within a virtual network. Despite the technological advancements, bullying remains a persistent issue. Haruyuki, a student who often finds himself targeted by bullies, receives an unexpected message from Kuroyukihime, the most popular figure at his school. She asks him, “Do you want to ‘accelerate’ and move forward, young man?” With this invitation, Haruyuki is introduced to the “Accel World” and chooses to become Kuroyukihime’s knight, ready to fight by her side.
