On a seemingly perfect day at the seaside, Alison and her younger sibling, Kevin, are rescued from a ferocious shark attack by the enigmatic and brooding Daniel. To Alison’s mother, Diana, Daniel appears to be a savior. However, to Alison’s boyfriend, Carson, Daniel seems like a threat with questionable stories. Daniel manages to win over Diana’s affection and gains entry into their home, but Alison becomes wary of his strange and overly protective demeanor. As Alison’s close ones begin to disappear, she uncovers that Daniel is not who he claims to be and has a sinister history marked by fatalities. “Daniel” is determined to make Alison his own, and she must thwart him before Kevin and Diana fall victim to his dangerous intentions.
