Esteemed poet Lee Jeok-yo, at the age of 70, finds himself enamored with a 17-year-old girl named Eun-gyo. As he comes to terms with his feelings for the young girl, he experiences intense emotional conflict and begins a path of self-destruction, even contemplating sacrificing his status as a highly regarded literary icon. Adding complexity to this love triangle is Lee’s protégé, Seo Ji-woo, a novelist in his 30s, who also becomes infatuated with Eun-gyo.
