Seneca – On the Creation of Earthquakes

In 65 AD Rome, Emperor Nero’s oppressive rule has peaked, with his extravagant lifestyle and indulgence sparking resistance and plots against him. Desperate to maintain his authoritarian grip on power, Nero employs every tactic at his disposal. The renowned philosopher Seneca, who has been Nero’s teacher, mentor, and trusted advisor since his youth, played a crucial role in Nero’s rise to power. Despite this, Nero grows tired of Seneca and seizes upon a failed assassination attempt to wrongfully implicate him as a co-conspirator.
