Klaus

When Jesper proves to be the least successful student at the Postal Academy, he is assigned to Smeerensburg, a remote village on a frigid island north of the Arctic Circle. The residents there are so unfriendly that they hardly speak to each other, much less send letters. Just as Jesper is on the verge of quitting his postman duties, he encounters Alva, a local teacher, and Klaus, an enigmatic carpenter who resides in a secluded cabin filled with handcrafted toys.
