The King of Havana

After fleeing a reformatory, Reinaldo faces the challenges of surviving on the streets of Havana during the difficult 1990s, a particularly harsh period for Cuban society. As he navigates his way through life, he is accompanied by dreams, disappointments, laughter, rum, and, most prominently, hunger. His journey takes a turn when he encounters Magda and Yunisleidy, fellow survivors. In their embrace, he seeks to break free from the physical and ethical destitution that envelops him, exploring the depths of love, passion, tenderness, and unrestrained intimacy.
