The Cabining
Todd and Bruce, an inept duo of screenwriters, are given a final opportunity to make it big, courtesy of Todd’s affluent uncle, Sarge. Sarge promises to finance their entire project if they can deliver a compelling horror script. However, there’s a catch—the script must be completed within a fortnight. With the deadline fast approaching and no new ideas in sight, Todd and Bruce decide to visit Shangri-La, a tranquil retreat for artists, hoping that the calm environment and the presence of other creatives will spark their inspiration. If not for a masterpiece, then at least for something suitable for a direct-to-DVD release. Contrary to their expectations, Shangri-La turns out to be far from peaceful, as the artists begin to die off one by one under mysterious circumstances. Bruce persuades Todd to draw inspiration from this grim setting for their writing, but soon they find themselves struggling to survive as well.
