Son of Sardaar
Jassi Randhawa, portrayed by Ajay Devgan, is an idle man without a job who unexpectedly receives a notification from the Punjab government regarding the purchase of his land in Punjab. To finalize the sale, Jassi travels to Punjab. During his train journey, he encounters Sukhmeet, played by Sonakshi Sinha, and falls for her. Once in Punjab, Jassi inadvertently crosses paths with Billu, played by Sanjay Dutt. Recognizing Jassi as a newcomer, Billu warmly invites him to his home and treats him with great respect. It is there that Jassi discovers Billu is actually Sukhmeet’s brother. The plot thickens when it is revealed that Billu’s real name is Balwinder Singh and Jassi is short for Jaswinder. However, Billu’s family adheres to a strict Punjabi tradition: a guest must never be harmed while in their home. Consequently, Billu must bide his time until Jassi leaves to exact his revenge. Aware of Billu’s intentions, Jassi devises a comical scheme to thwart Billu’s plans.
