The Brink

Impulsive police inspector Sai Gau (played by Zhang Jin) is determined to dismantle the gold smuggling operation run by the criminal Shing (portrayed by Shawn Yue), but he initially fails to capture him. As Sai Gau persists in his pursuit, he uncovers Shing’s connection to triad leader Blackie (played by Yasuaki Kurata), who is hiding on a casino cruise ship in international waters. Shing finds himself embroiled in a power struggle within the smuggling network, leading him to kill his adoptive father and lose his portion of the gold to Blackie. Seeking revenge, Shing boards the cruise ship, where Sai Gau is also present, intent on capturing him.
