Crossbones

In 1715, on the Bahamian island of New Providence, the first operational democracy in the Americas thrives under the rule of the infamous pirate Edward Teach, better known as Blackbeard. This unique locale, a blend of shantytown and pirate utopia, is home to a society of thieves, outlaws, and rogue sailors, posing a growing threat to global trade. To dismantle this fearsome community, Tom Lowe, a highly skilled undercover assassin, is dispatched to this pirate stronghold with the mission of eliminating the brilliant and charismatic Blackbeard. However, as Lowe delves deeper into his mission, he discovers that his task is far from straightforward. He begins to admire Blackbeard’s boundless thirst for knowledge and his unconventional political ideals. Yet, Lowe is not the only threat to Blackbeard’s reign. Blackbeard faces numerous villainous rivals and harbors a significant vulnerability—a passionately driven woman he cannot resist.
