Family Law

Set in Vancouver, Canada, “Family Law” centers on lawyer and recovering alcoholic Abigail ‘Abby’ Bianchi (Jewel Staite) as she attempts to rebuild her career and family life after reaching her lowest point. As part of her probation, Abby is compelled to join her estranged father’s (Victor Garber) law firm, Svensson and Associates, where she must navigate the complexities of family law for the first time. Along the way, she forms new bonds with her half-brother (Zach Smadu) and half-sister (Genelle Williams), whom she has never met before. The series portrays a dysfunctional family law firm dedicated to assisting other families with their own issues.
