The series kicks off with Becca on the brink of her second marriage. Everything appears to be ideal this time, yet she is still haunted by uncertainty. What if she could correct her past mistakes and make the ‘right’ decisions now? Becca’s thoughts drift to her old best friend Lolly, with whom she had a major falling out years ago. If only she could speak to her again… Out of the blue, after a bizarre elevator ride, Becca finds herself with that chance as she wakes up in New York City on the morning of her first wedding day in 1995. She is about to marry Sean, a rebellious artist who is completely wrong for her – and she realizes her first step must be to reconnect with Lolly to relive that day. Can she ‘make it right’ by living her life anew while readjusting to life in 90’s New York City – an era of smoking in bars, using pagers, and having an AOL email address? Becca will soon learn that there is no guaranteed way to make the right choices in life – even with all the knowledge she believes she has now.
