Bad Girls
“Bad Girls” is a British TV drama series that aired on ITV from June 1, 1999, to December 20, 2006. The show featured a cast including Simone Lahbib, Mandana Jones, Debra Stephenson, Linda Henry, and Jack Ellis, among others, over its eight-year duration. The series, produced by Shed Productions—the same company behind “Footballers’ Wives” and “Waterloo Road”—was set in the fictional women’s prison of Larkhall. It combined both serious and lighter storylines centered around the inmates and staff of G Wing. Starting in 2010, CBS Drama acquired the UK broadcast rights and has been regularly re-airing the series. As of September 2012, the channel continues to rerun the show in a late-night slot.
