Label him a city dweller or a novice, but he’s not part of the family just yet. Ambitious Los Angeles attorney James White is heading to the countryside for the holidays with his fiancée, Sadie Ryder, to meet her family in the rural town of Pine Gap. After a disastrous first encounter, James tries to win over Sadie’s father, Karl, who has a strong dislike for lawyers, by masquerading as an experienced cowboy—complete with horse-riding, hay-baling, game-hunting, and square dancing skills.
